You are correct. Turbo direct to TB, I like running the manifold long and far away from the motor, I can control boost better and 2 step will spool it up on launch so I'm not worried about lag on the line. It a straight Drag car so I'm going for easy access and easy assembly/disassembly.

Enjoyed the read , gives me flash backs to when I started years ago , your gonna hate the factory box , I did as I was wasting 1.2 seconds per pass in shifts , data logs on an off throttle .4 a second , so it's not like that translates to 1.2 on the time card but it's more time off throttle than I needed :/

Ohh you will get tens out of that setup easy !
There is easy 9s in that if you can push through the gears and not launch too roughly , weight will be your killer but power will overcome that

I would be jazzed to get into 9's! I'm trying to get into 8.5's one day down the road, not trying to break any standing record, all I want to do is have some fun and meet fellow enthusiast along the way. Where are you located?

I'm finally done with the cage mock up and had it looked at by a SFI inspector before I weld it up completely incase any changes needed to be made. Looks like everything is good to go, I just need to mount the seat and driver restraints. I'm thinking Kirkey Drag racing seat, any opinions on a Aluminum seat?

As I've said before I'm not a big guy, and all the seats that I have sat in are alway to big. I can get a Kirkey which comes in just about any size. Question is with the seat with, is it measured off my hip with, so if my hips are 15" across I need a 15" wide seat or should I go 16" to take in consideration of gear?

Put in a late night getting the twin disk installed that I purchased for 1FAASTFD3S on the forum. We shall see if this will give enough slip off the line so not to explode parts, but still grab like a SOB down the track. BTW anyone ever install an Exedy Twin? The installation instructions recommend to line up all of the blue marks on float disks, flywheel and top hat. Unfortunately the top hat had two blue marks next to each other, one of which had o dimple impression so I figured that was the important one of the two. By the picture would you say I'm right. Supposedly it is balanced by these marks and even more noisy if not done correctly.

Last minute changes to the turbo location. I mounted the radiator and there's no way to fit a shroud and electric fan with the turbo where it was. Keep it simple, on the bright side plenty of room for a water to air IC.
