160lb replacement injectors??
so I talked to my supplier today and find out that bosch no longer carry the 160lb injectors. They said siemens makes a 220lb injector which supposely have better spray pattern and better idle saturated pt. Has anyone use these yet? What are some of your findings? Can they idle if put into the primaries? I finished tuning an AEM powered T88 turbo rx7 in miami yesterday running E85 fuel and made 460rwhp @13psi and 540rwhp@18psi. We couldn't go any further due to ignition breaking up above it but I'm convinced that E85 is the way to go instead of race gas. I will need more fuel on my new setup. Post away if you have experience with these injectors.....

Whar's up Steve?
The bosch 160's been out of production for some time now. The Siemens do idle a lot better than the older technology Bosch's but that also depends on which ECU and fuel you're using. With E85 the bosch 160's idle very good on most ecu's. You should not have any problems with the AEM.

hwy cris,
nice to hear from you. Ya, it was on the dyno dynamics dyno. I guess soeone there must have told you about it. I heard your name was mentioned a few times while I was tuning. Anyways, back to the topic. How reliable are these injectors? I don't want to spend anymore $ to find out they are not as good as they claim.
hey enzo, ya, I didn't know they discontinued them 6 months ago. I guess I haven't keeping up with the latest products. Congrats on those numbers on youe E85 car. I'm hoping to get close to it on my drag car when I'm done with it.

I heard about the injector dynamics 2000cc injectors. Just not sure which route to go with at the moment.
you don't want to know what plugs he was running... Lets just say not much better than stock with twin power. I was shocked when I find out about it.

Hey Steve, the 220lb injectors are quality pieces, I like them a lot better than the previous injectors I was running. Been using these for over a year now with GREAT results.
