13B-RX3 Raced His Car Today.................
lets see the rotors and the housings.
Probably the rotors scwishhh the apex seals at the tip.
just wondering if the rotors didn't walk. When they do
they hit the tip of the rotors and pinch the seal.
also you get some minor scratches on the housing.

Thanks for sharing Allen, I see you also posted on the ALS thread too. Glad to see the ALS seals are holding up and not scoring the housings. Stick with the tuning! Don't think of it as blowing up, just think of it as practicing your engine building!
Keep at it!!!!!!!!!

Here are his ALS Seals and Housings.

I am happy to report that the seals suffered no damage whatsoever. I checked them on a granite machinist block and they are spot on. Also i have not experienced any abnormal housing wear as of right now. I am very happy with them and Edgar has a customer for life!!!

Man I'm sorry to hear all that crap happened and that's what makes me not hit that "warrior" class. I'm so scared my 5k motor will blow up that I'm getting it tuned by the pros. You don't know how bad I want to do it myself but I just don't have the bank to make mistakes like that. Something tells me your next tune will be spot on though
Good luck with it!
Good luck with it!
Thanks for the support EVERYONE. I stumbled across some good data lately so i think i am going to take my new perspective and try and tune it again myself.
I do need the practice Anthony. I am pretty stoked though, while i was taking the motor apart i only found one small mistake i had made. The next one is going to be perfect!!!
