Hi guys, im going to be taing my 1994 Rx7 to Santa Pod Drag strip this month, i have 2 other mates with Rx7's also coming along. 1 is the same spec as mine, and the other is an R2.

Anyone got any tips on how to make my car a little faster ? i will be removing the rear seats and passenger seat. ill also take out the spare wheel and tools when im up there.

Any other suggestions ??

Also does anyone know how much lighter the R2 is to the Standard Typr R ?

 

Without knowing your mods I would recommend at least getting a new set of plugs, make sure your wires are in good shape. Change your fuel filter.

If you are racing and get any wheelhop, let off the gas. Get a good set of tires if you have time. Wheelhop will break your rear faster than a set of sticky tires that do not hop.

You should list your mods for more help from others.

so far i have a kakimoto exhaust from cat back, an after market exhaust and an Apexi Power Fc with comander. had it re mapped and dyno'd and has 297bhp. the car has also been lowered.
