no one thought/thinks a 13B could ever run 6 in the 1/4 and we're getting closer to breaking that barrior
and for sure no one thought a street rx7 could almost run a 8 second pass
with stock IRS and Ari is very close to breaking that running 9.1 already

I can see with enough money and R&D him running 8's with his 13B
in due time

I still love my rotary and don't want to give up hope, but Markos Supra makes 1520whp and ran 8.45 just using 1200.

Marko only made that as a test and then blew the motor
wastegate un plugged
never did he or Jason the tuner intead to actually use that at the track
he dyno'd 1100 something for competion

AAP which has one of the fastest 3 after Titan and MSP
ran 8.2 with 1100+

TiTan made over 1k and ran 9.0 and 8.9 was there best with a 6 speed
Ari is still using the stock mazda tranny with special gearing I would assume

But if he was to use a Auto
I would bet anything he could run 8.7's

Nopi could drop the weight for 4 cyls and rotarys even more
and that could close the gap some more ...Don't discount anything out yet

What we lack is $$$ compared to the Supra community

I remember back in 2001, there was a race here in Houston. Ari was here. At the time he was putting down 620 rwhp. Rhys Millen was here with a TRD Supra. Their whole crew was here. They were really hyped up the whole weekend and they constantly bragged about their 1000 rwhp. Everyone made them out to be the best there. The finals were between Rhys' 1000 rwhp Supra vs Ari's 620 rwhp 3rd gen RX-7. They both launched great. Ari ran a 10.1 and Rhys ran a 10.6. So much for all the extra power. Rhys had a much higher trap speed but Ari killed him off the line. That was a big RX-7 vs Supra weekend. Ari and Steve Kan pretty much cleaned house until it was Ari vs Steve.

Ari was running OEM tranny w/ OEM internals. I talked to him about it and he told me he wanted to break his previous record of 9.58 run using a factory tranny. Looks like he did it with ease.

hopefully my car will run in rotary revolution. Hoping to run some mid 9's with the new setup. Eventhough its been done for a year. Just never had a chance to try it out at the track plus my turbo is still out for repair (damn oil leak).

I was in Phoenix watching Karl and Ari tear it up. I just love seeing the $150,000+ supra's pushing 1200hp losing to the thrid gens. Karl is runnning what looks like a GT42, with a HKS hot side. He told me he was running 28psi and using a 20 shot in between shifts.

Yeah, Karls setup isn't anything spectacular. He's running a thrown together turbo Kai turbine housing and different wheel/compressor combo...

28psi is his low boost.

Damn I thought Karl was full of it when he said he had a broken corner seal and he still planned on running a 9.6. I'll have to congratulate him next time i'm by his house asking him stupid questions. But damn.
