What class is he racing in? I know he has a g-force tranny so street class would be out.
I've been trying to get ahold of Demetrios. He is there as well.

 

He went even faster at a 9.1 a but earlier in the year.

I talked w/ Demetrios. Ari is in the pro-street class with the 8 sec. Supra's like MSP's. Demetrios qualified today. Only bad thing is this the first time he's went down the track in his new car so everything is from scratch. He did qualify today w/ a 9.30 pass. He bogged at the line then let out at the top of 3rd cause it got squirlly. So atleast he's getting some points.
Looks like Ari may win his class as the MSP Supra had some troubles getting down the track too.

 

ARI has taken it to a WHOLE new level THIS IS W/ A FACTORY MAZDA 5 SPEED, JUS GOT OFF THE PHONE W/ HIM..............MAD PROPS TO ARI & RX7.COM!!!!!!!

If he were running the factory 5spd. (which wouldn't stay togeather for 1 run w/ that kind of pwr) he would be running the Turbo 6 class where he could stand a better chance of winning.

but also in the BFG street class hmmmmm wierd
so indeed he may be running a stock tranny with Gforce guts

Don't necessarily judge what is in Ari's car by the stickers he has on it. He will use anyone's sticker if they pay contingency money. He finds out who is there, who is paying, and then finds a spot on the car and slaps them on. He used to have a Crower sticker on there but I somehow don't think he's using any of their products.

 

Maybe hes using their pistons and rods

 

I think it was a custom hydralic roller cam.

 

I know he used a G-force all last year. It doesnt matter. We'll never know. All the matters is finally a RX7 put the damn Supra's in their place.......back on the sidelines! Hopefully he and the other 9sec. 7 will go to all the Nopi races so the beat down will continue.
On a side note, Demetrios got his car running well towards the end of the day.
He redlight in the first eliminations, but still ran a 7.84@175mph......
By April 9 @ MIR, he should get even better.

I hate to say it, but the little 13B is no match for that big six cylinder. Ari needs to build a three rotor.
