wideband -> data logging
I have looked for a wideband. I searched and found that some have data logging and some does not have it. I would like to know how useful is this functionality ? Does it really worth it or just with the air/fuel ratio display you are able to tune a car ?

Some widebands can store a datalog for up to an hour. Then you can datalog your drive to work/spirited driving and take it home and put it on your computer. Then find out under what conditions you run rich/lean etc... It is hard to keep your eyes on a wideband while under full throttle.

The LM1 and the wbo2.com unit both utilize true wideband oxygen sensors. In fact, both of these units are capable of using the same sensor as the FJO unit, although it is generally cheaper to use the "Bosch" sensors which are made by NTK anyway. The FJO unit utilizes the NTK L1H1 sensor which has become very expensive. It will log for up to 44 minutes in multiple sessions. It will log up to 5 other inputs as well (it would take a bit of work to get them wired up though).
FYI - the dynojet WBo2 uses the Bosch 0 258 006 066 LSU sensor... which is the same sensor used with the wbo2.com unit and the LM1.
I would say any of the WBo2 units out there will take care of all your needs. In my opinion there really is no need to spend the extra $300 on a FJO. (or even less if you go with the wbo2.com unit... and build it yourself)
I know people who run the wbo2.com unit with the 7 057 sensor, and the readings on it are right in line with the dynojet....

PLX M-500 seems very cool. Small and compact.
IM pretty much has all the same features as the PLX M500 except for the wireless USB deal. Its a bigger bulky thing like a multimeter, but simple and still portable.
I if I do decide to invest in one i would probably get a staight pipe and have the bung welded in there and run the sensor wires through the tranny shift hole in the chassis just for tuning purpose. also the LM has 44 min of record time, but if i also wanted RPM range it's another $100 option, but seems like it will make tuning and keeping track of the data log easier and worth while. At the same token a smaller m-300 looses all the bells and whistle almost makes it worth while just to wire it perminatly as another gauge......
