Who Would Win!!!

Me and my friends, we talking about out FD's. His plans are to put a 20brew w/ a big turbo(maybe t45 or sumthin)...on the other hand, i am thinking about keeping the 13brew and changing it to a huge single turbo w/ extreme steetport, bore and honed tb, ceramic 3mm seals(THE WORKS)etc. assuming that the rest of out drive train and fuel requirements are up to par, who would win in a quater mile drag?

build them and see. We can play what if's all day long. Simple truth is that the 20b can make more power. Neither sounds like it will happen real soon.

You would kill the 13 if you got a 20b. Red Rx7 was runnign a T78 i believe at 12 or 13 psi and generated somewhere in the high 600's if im not mistaken. A 13b would have to be running a HUGE turbo and race gas to get a high enough PSI to get into the 600's.

3mm seals are a waste of money. Stick with the stock Mazda 2mm seals, or put up the money for even better 2mm seals.

I'd get like a spaceship Engine from NASA (Maybe Ebay or the Parts Trader) and custom mount it to like a Ford Pinto or something really light! Maybe twin T-99's with a BRIDGE port too! Let me know when you guys are done so I can race you for PINKS!!
THere's NO WAY you'll be able to keep your little 13 B's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just for the record ...

are you basically asking if a 20B+ FD3S could beat a 13-REW+ FD3S?

From what i'v heard 3mm seals are only good for racing purposes, because they seal better at really high rpm, but for city driving at lower rpms they seal very poorly. Also because of the poor sealing at low rpm's the car is gonna be really hard to start up.
