should I rip everything out?

So I started my fd project today and I've got basicly every part that can come off... off. Except in the engine bay. So here's the story with questions... first it's a 93 auto and I'm gonna put a j-spec 13b street ported 5 speed into it... I'm also going with a haltec standalone... I'm keeping abs and power steering, and MAYBE ac, I dunno yet since this will just be a weekend driver. Anyhow I'm redoing EVERYTHING, fuel lines brake lines etc. Now sinc I'm going with a haltec do I need to leave my stock computer in to control interior functions or can everything be run using the haltec (I've never been much of a body harness guy so I dunno where it all gets power from, doesn't seem like the ecu would control anything though) next... should I just rip EVERYTHING off the car including engine harness then install the haltec then motor then assosiated parts (like brake booster etc.) I'm trying to keep the least amount of stuff as possible and EVERYTHING is pretty much being replaced. No emissions needed either. Can the haltec basicly replace the engine harness or does it get spliced in? I'd rather do away with the old harness if I can.
Next up I'm creating a few lists right now and I need a few suggestions... first I'd like to know if anyone has a good suggestion of getting a good baffle into the gas tank to keep low gas from sloshing... I was gonna put a fuel cell in but I'm kinda worried about cutting into the trunk and comprimising the chassis regity... also I was planning on running a rear diffuser and I need the gas tank to bolt to, cause I don't wanna cut up the diffuser (making it useless). Also whats a good fuel pump that will handle a 600hp 20b (in the future I'm gonna swap in a 20b).
Anyhow I gotta research some stuff but thanks for any help!
