What's the difference in setups that have a closed airbox like the M2, and cold air intakes that simply have 2 open air filters?

im puttin in the RX7 fashion cold air....lets see how that works. People say its the same as the M2...

It's the airbox dimensions post. If any of you have the box out of the car at the moment take a couple minutes and post the dimensions in that thread, so people can compare the intakes.

Dont worry it's a very good intake...I have it..The newer rx7fashion intake that is..that look very similar to the m2's older (non-carbon) box..it's actually better put together then m2's older box in terms of welds etc.
