Talking Where can I get some Aluminum greddy pipes for 3rd gen engine?

Hi guys!

I am curious on what places can do custom greddy piping for my dual intake. I like to get rid of that nasty plastic intake piping. Also, I know they make a greddy elbow, but for that piping that connects to that elbow, where can you get that? I have a Blitz SMIC.
Who makes heat shields for dual intakes (Blitz)?

Lastly, I would like to know who else can fasten a BOV to an upgraded intercooler pipe.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks guys!!!

James

Try www.m2performance.com they have most of the stuff you are looking for. I would also look at www.rx7store.net and even www.rx7.com

Cool, never tried M2 Performance. I tried the other two. They said they can provide me the greddy intake elbow and possible IC pipe, but to add the BOV to it would have to be custom. The rest they dont provide.

Are you still using the stock plastic intake hoses for your intake?

Thanks!

I still have stock intake and stock pipes. I am waiting and saving to go single turbo sooner or later (later, unfortunately).

I carry the Greddy elbow with a BOV flange already welded to it, which can be used with the Type S BOV.

Rx7eaven: Really? Why is everyone going single for??? I just dont want turbo lag. I enjoy the twin torque!

Jason: Hey, how much? Is it the intake elbow and the pipe that goes to the IC? I want the BOV to be on that pipe.
Also does the pipe fit with the Blitz SMIC?

I think that Jason has the elbow for the cheapest that I have seen. I want more HP and a faster car. With 15psi the greddy T78 gives you about 450rwhp!! Plus my stock twins are old and never have been rebuilt sooo...

How do you know when your twins are bad? They make any sounds or something?

They just have 76K miles on them. I did not say that they were bad, just old. I just want something new that adds serious hp.

Hard pipe from elbow to BLITZ

I have an un-installed Greddy elbow but it did not come with an extension pipe to the Blitz outlet. I was going to just use a large piece of radiator tubing when I saw that you can buy an extension peice with the elbow.

Does this extension peice work with the stock IC (Blitz) and if so JASON, can I just buy this pipe from you.

Thanks.

Jason told me the connector greddy pipe will fit. I am buying it soon.

Just contact the RX7store.net and order one. Runs about $200, polished.

Hope that helps!

You prefer the N1 over the GT? I know the N1 is alot cheaper. Just heard alot of noise problems with the N1, great exhaust though!

I am looking into the HKS Carbon fiber Hiper exhaust. Looks cool, and is not overly loud.

You got it backwards. The GT is loud as crap, that is why they sell it at the rx7store with the silencer. The n1 is a great exhaust, sounds like a low rumble at idle and screams at WOT. I did hear that you would need some ear protectors if you use it with a midpipe but that's not the direction that I'm going in. I have not heard much at all on the HKS Carbon fiber cat back. Let me know how you like it and what you find out about it. Thanks.

after reading several post about the apex gt and how loud it is, i don't think so. iwas actually disappointed it diudn't have a more menacing noise. first thing i did to my ccar was add the exhaust and me and everyone that was with me thought it wasn't loud at all. by next week when i have the pettit resonated mdpie installed i let you know if it got louder. by the way i also have the hks dp installed. if you want a quiet exhaust with a nice look and good rumble the greddy sp, i heard it on carl p (wankawankels) car it sounds nice, before when he had the tanabe race medallion, that thing was horribly loud. to the point where it is annoying.
