Question 12.01@116 on a Hybrid with some questions

Hey everyone,
I was able to run some great times in my car Sunday with a Hybrid turbo, stock block and stock intercooler. I was able to run a 12.01@116 and a 12.06@115mph. I have some questions I was hoping some of you gurus could answer for me. I was wondering what you think I should be shifting at. Currently I am shifting at around 7200rpm's. Do you think there is any time to be gained by shifting up at 8000 or so. I know that most FD owners shift around there. Please let me know what you think guys. This Sunday I plan on running in the 11's hopefully.
Take Care,
Ben

Ben-

The only real answer to this is for you to hop down to MCRacing and dyno your car. Find out when your turbo stops making power. Thats when you shift.

Besides, why aren't you using flat shift anyways?

Most modded FD guys shift around 7k. Like Red-Rx7 said, get on the dyno and find out.

If you have a Haltech you can use the flat shift feature or use antilag (only one though) andthat would help your times a bit.

Best of luck.

Can someone explain to me how to use the flat shift feature as I am in the dark on this one.
Thanks,
Ben

Its on the new firmware update. Basically, you never take your foot off the gas. You preset your RPMS and when you engage you clutch, the Haltech holds the RPMS at XXXX amount until you disengage.

Therefore, you hit peek rpm spool each shift.
