whats next?
i've headed doen the mod lane and started some upgrades. so far:
act strip/street clutch
hks dp
pettit resonated mid pipe
apex power fc
apex fmic w/intakes
ngk plugs (9)
apex gt spec exhaust
replacement vac lines
apex turbo timer
autometer boost gauge and a/f gauge
i'm looking forward to getting the apex single turbo, because of its twin turbo like spooling and the rwhp gain i get at 1 bar of boost. i don't plan on going any higher than 400-450 rwhp, i'm not a drag racer. any ideas on where i should go next as far as mods?
i was thinking fuel: bosch fuel pump, 550 pimaries and 1600 secondaries, fuel regulator, hks ignition...
should i do these next, any particular order i should follow?

You need more fuel!
You start too many upgrades to flow more air with intake and exhaust and you'll end up running lean = detonation = blown motor. Upgrade your fuel supply and controllers.

if you get all the stuff listed you will be set. the only thing you might want to get is the powerfc boost control kit if you plan on running above 1.2bar. kaaz lsd, new suspension, mazdaspeed ppf, unobtainium bushings. i think that's the only things you are missing on your list. i would get the powerfc first it will make the car run alot better in general. you are on the right track.

i know im retarted bu i think i can read...u alredy have the power fc so your fine on managment
right now u should alredy have a upgraded pump...and i would deff get injectors asap...you prob seein like above 80% injector duty wich isnt good at all.....
righ now id concentrate on fuel system...then do all the stuff vosko listed..

thanx guys, do you think 550 prim and 1600 sec injectors will be overkill for now, this what i plan on ruinning when i have the apex single turbo. oh and if you guys didn't know already i've decided to do all these upgrades just so that i can be faster than both of you (vosko and bacon), i've decided to enter the race. so much so i decided to sell most of my high end stereo equipment, that was going to get mounte in the fd.

nice this will deff be a showdown t04s pfc vs t04s haletc vs rx-6 pfc...i cant wait!...1600's will be fine as long as you get them tuned

yeah, i'm playing around too. i just want to join in the fun, especially since me and vosko's car is at the same shop. by the way i am really confused right now, i know i am going to spend at least 1000 on my fuel system but i don't know what to go for. i wanted to run 1600, but a friend of mine is still saying that it will be too much fuel for my set up. is 550 prim and 1600 sec overkill in the fuel dept?

1600's are a little big for you since you are running stock setup but with a powerFC can be tuned. most people run 1200 or 1300cc secondaries. if you want get your 850's enlarged to 1200/1300 and put them in. then when you get the turbo kit have the 550 primaries enlarged to 850 and you will have plenty of fuel. if you do this. you can also send you pfc to xs to get reprogrammed since they have a map for this setup

but i do have a power fc on the way, i'm almost at the point you are where i will be dropping my car off to have everything put in. the only thing before years end that i won't have is the single turbo, the reason is simply that x-mas is coming and i have to buy people gifts and won't be able to treat myself. so after jan (my b-day) i will send it to the shop to get ported and have the single put on, but before then i want to have everyhting so that i can just order the single andd have it dropped in. if anything, if you don't recommend me putting all the fuel stuff and anything else in until i actually have the single turbo thats cool, but i am an impulse buyer and i have to have everything except the apex turbo, now. in all honesty i just want an unbeatable street car, i'm not into track racing but i will do it, for fun and not really bragging rights. original plan was for 11 sec runs and thats it, i figure 400-450 rwhp will do it. i know you can do it with the twins but i want reliability, i don't want to have them running at there max. reason for choosing apex, because i can't resit that quick spooling action, just love it. reason for choosing 1600, it seems thats what everyone else is running, and the reason for asking so many questions, i want to know is it for, does it apply to my situation?

it all depends how much boost you wanna run. i would say less than 15 psi get 1300's. over 15 get 1600's . ask ito for best answer. i plan on running alot of boost so i have 1600's waiting in the shop :p

you can run 17.5 lbs all day long if you want. the powerFC allows for two boost settings. i would have one at 10psi and one at 17.5psi. keep it at 10psi for daily driving. 17.5psi you will get 5mpg :p
