what is needed to run 11's?

With these mods what else is needed to run high 11's with a good driver. also how much would it cost?
The car has the following modifications: Slotted rotors on all four corners with Hawk HP Plus pads, Cusco strut bar, Eibach springs all the way around, Downpipe wrapped with thermo tech, Dual tip Racing Beat Polished exhaust, Single under drive pulley kit, Aluminum AST, Pettit intake, Pettit Coolcharge II intercooler, Mazdaspeed short shifter, Dual pod boost gauge, Power FC computer, R1 front lip, and Bose CD player. All of these mods were professionally installed and have less than 7,000 miles on them.

you didn't list whether the strut bar was carbon fiber or aluminum?! Need more info.... No really, what type of motor? Stock, rebuild-How much boost are you going to run, Midpipe or hi flow cat? Getting into the 11's is no easy task. Driving skill on the strip has nothing to do with if you have a clean driving record. Mastering launch technique and quick shifting as well as setting the car up properly to do the job. I've seen many cars with tons of mods and money spent and still not break 12's. There is a learning curve that has to be dealt with and the only way to know if the car with said mods will attain that goal is if the driver of the car goes thru the learning curve with the car! So, if you want to know what it will take to get to the high 11's you'll need to start going to the track, make passes, break ****, make more passes and break more ****-Then, maybe then, you'll know how many mods and how much money it would take to get into the 11's. It's not a guessing game, every track, and every car is different, you'll just have to go and try it, then you'll know-grasshoppa!

You'll need a built motor that's streetported, MP or Hi-flo (mp gets more hp) and atleast 13-14 psi running on properly working turbos. Your fuel system need upgraded - bigger injectors and hi-flo fuel pump. And your PFC needs to be "well" tuned by someone who knows rotaries or you'll never get into the 11s. It's not all the bolt-ons but how the car is set-up and tuned and how you launch will determine where your car goes.

I am going to try to do it with a stock engine. No porting.

40mm wastegate with Crispeed divided manifold
1600cc secondaries, 720cc primaries

I think this will get me in to the low 12's for sure. With a good launch, 11's.

A very good driver could hit 11's with your set up as long as you add 3 things......mp, clutch, and tuning. At 14psi with slicks or maybe good drag radials and romping the **** out of your car off the line it should hit 11's easy. If you want to hit 11's without being to hard on it out the hole then upgrade the fuel system and tune for 16psi of boost.

Of course all this is dependant on you having a high compression motor. Without high compression all the mods in the world wont help you.

A stock motor will run 11's easy with good tuning and high compression.

Oh yea, dont run 14psi on the stock fuel system unless you have been tuned for it or run race fuel. Also make sure your intake temps are under 40C.

Later,
STEPHEN

When I had stock turbos and stock engine, I went a best of 11.88 @116mph. You don't need a ported motor. I had all the bolt ons and 1200cc secondaries w/ a bosch fuel pump. Now I've went through 3 motors since then....
