wanting to get a wideband but don't want to pay a fortune
what do you think of this:
1. http://www.urdusa.com/Merchant2/merc...gory_Code=PERF
I like this one because you can use the stock o2 sensor location, no need weld in another bung. I can find for about 275 plus shipping
or this one
2. http://www.zeitronix.com/
or there is anohter one that the guys on this forum use but it is a bit much, however I don't want to get something so cheap that it is inacurate. This one goes for 279 before you get the lcd and since you need the lcd it bumps the price to 399

The first one looks like the best deal, and it looks like if you want to do some tuning, that would be good enough to get you in the ball park. You would still be better off with a day at the dyno with a f/a mix sniffer to tune it properly for the best performance with least emissions. Unless you have a fully adjustable and controllable aftermarket EMS, you probably don't need to go to that extreme (and expense). If you just have a piggyback system or, as I see in your sig, a SAFC, you should be able to tune it good enough with that. It just takes longer, and alot more patience.

thanks man after searching on this site for the past 2 hours I haven't seen a negative thing about it. THey also have a converter that will convert the signal from .1v narrow band gauges to a .5v so that your narrow band will now see the correct wideband signal.
or for 350.... http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/lm1.php

I've heard of alot of people having problems with the lm-1 of course the amount of users that have the lm-1 are alot more than plx users. I do like the fact for 350 you have data logging witch is really cool!

just found this and it says "Sample and store air/fuel ratio, and up to five additional inputs (RPM, MAP, MAF, TPD, etc)" so I was wondering why you would need the rpm converter??? Thanks.
damn I can't make up my mind!!!!! I can either spend the 275 on a plx or bite the bullet and get an lm-1 with the rpm converter and a heatsink bung extender for a grand total of 518 oh plus the stainless steal bung for 8 bucks.......damn I don't know what to do. It's not like my car is really heavily modified its just that I would like to keep an engine withought blowing it up. Probably the plx would be good for my application I would just like to have the data logging however if you get the plx with data logging its like 499. ANyways sorry I'm just thinking out loud.

what are you getting with it sub??? are you getting the rpm converter??? I'm just thinking if you don't have it and you are logging your data the only thing it is going to log is your a/f ratio numbers however that won't help much if you don't see what rpm your at as well. or does it collect the rpm data as well without rpm convert??? IF it does then I'm going lm-1 as well.
