Video - NOPI Turbo 6 Finals- Supra vs RX7

Since some of you guys have accused me of being biased and not showing videos of a supra losing. Here is a little clip from this weekend at the NOPI drags.

Justin Nenni's 6spd Supra vs Steve Kan's RX7.

Greg is correct. But I actually hear it more offline and it's usually from a certain 10sec Maroon RX7 owner.

I see the ET was a timing error, was the MPH wrong too? Or did he really run 140?

Damn, that white Supra was all over the place.

I thought Steves car was faster than high 10's, I though toward the end of last year he was running super low 10's and saying he could get 9's. Didnt he run a 10.2 letting off or somthing like that???

Anyway, its a good race!!! The crowd prob thought the Supra layed down a spanking with 10 flat on the board.

I was in San Antone with the RP crew. Steve didn't get a chance to tune his car at all--we didn't think he was gonna show up at all. It was pretty cool; he showed up sunday, layed the smack down, collected his prize, and went home.

If I remember correctly, Steve had a phenomenal launch, and he needed it b/c the supra was gaining by the end of the 1/4.

Good job Steve-o

Glad you guys liked it. Steve has an awesome 1/8th mile, and the same thing happened last time, right Steve? I had the slicks slightly high on pressure, and I got out of the groove causing me to spin the ET Streets, it was a fun ride to say the least. Next time Steve is mine .... and yes, the 140mph was correct. We'll see what I can pull out of it on slightly higher boost.
