Using Line Locs
Yesterday I went out to test my line locs.
At first I thought my front wheels were not locking up because my car was moving down the road.
Found out, the front wheels were in fact locked up. My car was being pushed down the road with my rear wheels! LOL!
This must not be good for my front tires!
Anyway... Is there a secret to setting it up so your car doesn't move while burning out?

line locks
If your car has enough power one you break trackion you should be able to just sit there and spin. With a line lock you shouldn't be having any trouble sittin still.
IF you are pushing your car, sounds like you are not giving it enough gas. Rev it up and dump it or rev it up and slip it in quick.

Try it in a waterbox
Also yes on the revs... My car would also push the front tires (not with linelock, just three-fotting it) unless I dumped the clutch at about 6k. I wouldn't bother slipping the clutch because you have to shock the tires loose, if you slip out the clutch the clutch will do a burnout instead of the tires.

Yeah... I would shift in to 2nd., but I need another hand!
I have my line loc switch on my e-brake, so I have to hold down on the button with my right hand and stear with my left hand.
I finally did a pretty good burnout tonight, but am reving to about 8500 RPM. Of course there is very little boost while I'm doing this, so I doubt that it hurts anything?
I guess I could rig it up so I could clinch down on it with my teeth?
