Upgrading

Hello all I have an 88 Gxl with a K&N style intake, and a sebring exhaust on 3" piping. I bought the car like that for 900$ and it runs awesome. My question is, would the car benefit in terms of power if i change the mufflers to something else? What other best bang for buck upgrade is available for these cars. By the way my car is N/A. Thanks in advance ---------Ren

If you have full 3" piping you could be losing power in an NA. Do you still have a cat? If not, how are your aux. ports being opened?
