Upgraded Clutch & flywheel combo...

I ran a spectacular 16.8 + 1/4 on my 94 RX7 with all my mods on my sig. My factory clutch has 143K miles, so its time to replace.

I have done research and It looks like ACT Street/Strip is the best clutch to get. My 1st question is, should I replace the flywheel with a lightone? I searched and found alot of conficting info, want to see what you guys think.

My 2nd question .....What is the best combo and where can I get it at the best price. I am aware of srmotorsports and RX7store.net.

Thanks for your advice!

I would go with a tilton double disk. I have not bought one for my FD yet but for the FC it was $750 for clutch and flywheel.

tilton makes a great one like amemiya said, and the act one will do as well. the tilton is more though. i have an act extreme now, but had a street-strip clutch before the new one. great for everyday driving is the street-strip one. it all depends on how much $$ you are willing to come off of....

I got a BNR stage 3 clutch, haven't tried it our yet but Bryan (from BNR) has it on his T2 and likes it. He uses it as his daily driver so I'm guessing it can't be that agressive. Also the prices are pretty damn good. Shoot BNR a e-mail and see what he has to say.

I need one that can hold around 450rwhp and still be somewhat streetable. I had an ACT2600lb clutch in my 97GSX and it was damn tiring in traffic but worked awesome while racing.

if you don't go with a multi disk than get a Clutchmasters there clutches are the best hands down.
