Turbo GSL-SE questions

I'll be turboing the GSL-SE very soon, and have a couple questions.... well just one for now:

- Will the S4/5 TII water pump housing bolt up to the stock GSL-SE front iron? In other words, is the bolt pattern the same? Reason is, I have an S5 TII wp housing sitting here and it'll be easier to just route the coolant drain from the turbo to this TII wp housing. I'll source the coolant from the nipple at the top of the wp housing which would normally run through to the throttle body.

It's been awhile but if I remember right the front covers are differant. The indent for the pump housing is deeper on the S5 cover. You might want to check this first.

Yes it will bolt up fine but you will have one hole that dead heads. The bolt hole closest to the the distributor/CAS will need to be shut. The gslse front iron does not have that bolt hole. Either weld it shut or tap it and put a bolt with some ATV/silicone to close it. Once you put it on you will understand what I'm talking about. Also I know the S4 goes on fine but the S5 you might have to grind the waterpump housing a bit on the back side for it to clear. Good luck.
