So I have an 84' se with a stock tranny and rear end.13b with a monster street port putting out(at least dynoed at)248 hp.This number reduced dramatically when now that the downdraft was replaced with a holley.Anyway my question for you all is what can the stock tranny put up with?The reason for this question
is that I need toget a better clutch because the stock unit slips(off the line) if I heat my tires up before a run.
I don't really want to spend $750 on a clutch and fly wheel if the tranny can't handle it.If anyone has any suggestions(turboII tranny ect.)or good luck with the stock se tranny let me know.
