Three important questions.......
1) Can a GSL-SE tranny fit a Cosmo 13B Motor?
2) What is the best tranny for 500 whp?
3) What is the difference between SE and 79 12A Tranny?.... Length???

2. i have seen the turbo II and 93 and up transmisions take a beating...So without going into special use i would stick with the OEM.
3. SE and 79 tranny differ in the tail end. You can swap the different tail parts of the tranny and vice versa. The 79 tranny has the shifter aprox 3 inches shorter.
SE tranny is a little stronger than the 79..

2) How much does a TII and FD tranny sell for?
3) When you say shifter is shorter by 3 inches. You mean closer to the firewall by three inches? Or shorter shifter in hieght?
