Fuel system upgrade

I have a 87 TII.

I need to know whether i need an inline or a return style fuel pressure regulator.

How should i set it up on a currently stock setup? i really would like to install it with little modification right now. as i will be upgrading the whole fuel system and lines in the future.

I will be running 850s in the primaries and 1600s in the secondaries.

Any help would be appreciated guys

Rx7 has both supply and return, so you'll have to get a return style. The way pressure regulators work is by blocking off return pressure. Unless you're working on a fairly recent vehicle with a returnless system. Then they use a fuel pressure monitoring sensor and the pressure is regulated in the fuel tank by the computer and the fuel pump.

are you trying to install an adjustable fpr? If doing so, it's pretty much just a bolt-on application. The hoses go in the same spots, and there's only one vacuum hose.
