studs on block

studs on block

I have block off plates for my 87 TII and it looks like i need to take the suds out of the block how would i get them OUT?

its easy. just take two nuts, then tighten them together on the stud. then wrench on the bottom nut and remove the stud.

it depends on if you want to reuse the studs or not

Yes the two nuts or Vicegrip method works well.

if you apply enough pressure on the pliers and turn the stud from the blank section there will be no damage. the key is the grip on the pliers and how sharp the teeth are ...

i've tried the 2-nut method as well and it does work.

hey snapon sells a kit for stud removel works great and dont hurt the stud
