street or race porting?
My RX7 FD is my daily driver, but I also want to make it a beast so when I get my engine rebuilt by the RX7-store I was going to get street porting, but then I noticed the race port was only 300 more. Even though its my daily driver, I am planing a GT500R turbo, cat back, ultimate fuel system, coilovers, FMIC, dual oil coolers, ect . I am also going to run it on E85 once it's ready ( I live in the state of corn fields). My delema right now though is, will race porting be too much for a daily driver? most would say yes but think about the fact that I was going to make my daily driver 450+ hp already soo.

If you lived in Houston which can have a lot of stop and go driving, then no way would you want a race port.
If you lived out in the country with very little traffic, then you could get away with the race port.
COMMON SENSE should dictate the answer!

Yup I've been planning on street port, but my cousin said that a race port is worth the 300. He has no clue about rotary's, but he does have a S2000 so i figured maybe he's onto something so.
