Question Stantionary gears?

This is realy for any of you guys that have both a S5 and S6 Set of Stantionary gears that can compare them and tell me if the S6 ones will fit a S5 plate with minor mods or are they completly diffrent?

I am after some hardened gears for my S5 T2, i know the Gen 3 had them in stock form so i just wanted to know if i can fit just the Gear?

I would apreciate any imput as i would have to order them and i cant find any specs to compare the two gears.

Thanks.

The back one will fit, but the front stationary gear is harder to fit. The front stationary gear needs the 93+ counterweight, thrust washers, thrust washer bearing, and spacer and i might forget something else.

Racing Beat has a pretty good write-up in their catalog (a must-have, imo). There is also some info on their site.

I'm told, if you go with a gear/bearing that provides more oil flow, like their special grooved bearing or the 3-window version, you'll need a higher pressure regulator (oil) to keep pressure up throughout the rest of the system.

The easiest way is with a file. Run the edge of a file on an area that will not be adversely affected. If you run a file accross a hardened part you will barely tell you even touch it.

the hardened ones are black, or a very dark grey. the unhardened ones are just a shiny steel color
