Smilodon is right, Top Fuel lends itself MUCH better to blowers. In Top Fuel motorcycle, turbos are legal, but there hasn't been one on a competitive bike since the late 70's early 80's because of the efficiency levels that modern lyshom and sprintex blowers have obtained. There is one turbo top fuel Harley running, but he's about 500-750 HP short of being competitive currently.

The numbers I mentioned earlier about making ~2000 more HP on a top fuel car with a lyshom blower came from a friend who designs and builds top fuel and funny cars for NHRA teams. Multiple event wins and top 5 points finishes. I trust his opinion. The 2000 HP might be a little optimistic, but I'd expect 1000 HP range just bolting it on and tuning, 2000 HP would likely be obtainable in a few years of tweaking the setup.
