This is so addicting........

I just got my 3rd gen back today. I had my SS downpipe installed. I also have a Blitz SS catback. However, I still have my my main cat. I noticed the increase of power off the line and I can really hear my turbos spool!

Having these two mods, does anybody know how much horsepower I have increased over stock? If I add an intake, how much more can I squeeze out?

What does a BOV do? Will that help me hit my target. I want to hit 300hp. This is so addicting....

Coming next:
Apexi Dual Power Intake
Fluidyne Radiator
Meziere Water Pump
SR Motorsports SMIC

Thanks,
Jason

Figure 15% drivetrain loss on the stock hp then add 10-15 for each of the mods....you're about 250 or so at the rear wheel...is my guess. Figue the intake will give you another 5-10.

The big thing is easier spool for your turbos and weight savings from removal of precat and replacing the stock catback.

It is addicting...and expensive. Be sure you figure in your ECU soon!!

Do the mods right!

Before you do anything else.........get a boost gauge and a turbo timer.

Add an aluminum AST to replace the plastic one that will burst.

If you replace your Cat with a Hi-Flow Cat, you must install a Boost controller and get an ECU upgrade. Otherwise you'll spike and grenade.

Best of Luck!

You are almost at your point of getting 300 hp. However, when you hit that spot you are going to want more hp; it's going to get really addicting. The next mod I would do in this order would be.
1) Boost gauge
2) Intake
3) 180 degree thermostat
4) fan mod
5) Upgrade your ECU

If I had to guess how much hp you have right now I would say around 275 hp.

I got downpipe, turbo timer, boost gauge, water temp gauge, fluidine radiator, unorthodox underdrive pulley, racing beat dual tip cat back (on the way), and pettit ecu (on the way). Intake, ic, replacing the AST, and upgrading the fuel pump are my next few mods. Drop me a line at striker_2453@hotmail.com

I have a 95 R2 and I want to put a downpipe on it in the near future. I have already put on an aluminum AST, a boost gauge, intake, turbo timer, and a cat back exhaust. I agree with the rest in that you need to upgrade the ECU to meet the requirements soon. I am going to do the downpipe and the ECU at the same time. I am also in the hunt for a Cosmo 20B fuel pump if anyone knows where I might find one. I guess I can settle for a Supra fuel pump too......please let me know
