single or dual exhaust (newb)

well i just got my frist rx7 ..its an 88convertible and im watchin to put an exhaust on it and i was gunna run a straight pipe to two apex n1 muffler and my question is would it be better to run a staight pipe with only one muffler instead of the dual or would the dual be alrite as far as backpressure and everything..this might be in the wrong sectiion..sry..thanks for the help..ill take some pics when its not raining and post them up
