Siguel ECU
Can anyone with 100% certaintity say what ECU Siguel is running?
Some say Microtech.
Some say Haltech.
Others say a US brand ECU.
I know for sure at one stage he had a Microtech on it, as I have seen 2 pics of the car with a Microtech sticker on it.
I know with the MX3 it had a Haltech on it.
Just wondering what it has now...
Anyone?

They run a space frame chassis ALFA with a 700+bhp Chev...It is a very very fast car (circuit racing) They are about 5 to 6 seconds a lap faster than the V8 "supercar" (**** boxes) that are so popular over here

I am surprised you didn't here back from Dyson.
i e-mailed them the day b4 yesterday. Yesterday they phoned me here in NZ at home, then on my mobile as I wasn't home.
I am no expert on ECU's, but I can sell you onw if you want one, no worries there.

Peter I need some more info since you have a SMC
I read Hall's site
and I'm confused
can the SMC run 2 coils out of the box
or do I need to have the CDI???
Here is a reply from speedtech
"if you are wanting to use multi coil 4 cyl add $300
to the kit's price

"kit includes open wiring loom, air temp sensor, power relay, comms cable, software, antilag, built in pressure transducer(map sensor),logging in PC (1meg) in ECU (24k), instructions."
price should come to less then 1k USD including shipping,
TPS and other little optional goodies
for autotune it's 130 USD extra

You can get a microtech if you want. Have fun with the misses and stumbles with the reduced tuning load points.

i myself have a microtech as does my brother, when driving on the street its nice and smooth and we both get good fuel consumption. Alot of people bag out microtech, sure they cant do as much as other brands but for the price you cant go past them, theres many 8,9 and 10 second cars over here using a microtech as well as many quick street cars. so if i was you id go microtech, for the price converted to U.S dollars its a bargin
p.s i may be alittle biased as ive only had a microtech on my cars
