Shimmed oil relief valve

Shimmed oil relief valve

I'm about to install a shimmed rear oil relief valve in my 90 TII that is supposed to bypass at 80-85 psi. Do I need to shim the front oil pressure regulator to accomodate the new rear regulator? If so, how much?

Are you using the Racing Beat street regulator? If so then it just bolts rright in: http://www.racingbeat.com/resultset....rtNumber=11810 .
If you use the race regulator you're supposed to shim it: http://www.racingbeat.com/resultset....rtNumber=11812 .

Just install it. 80-85psi is considered "street port" pressure. Don't touch the other one in the front cover.
