Question Seeking performance and info

Sup guys I have a 87 n/a all stock except for an hks exhaust and a k/n intake.I was wondering what performance upgrades I could get for a resonable price. Also does the car have 2 or 4 injectors I have gas in my oil and I was informed that this was because of the old injectors not sealing off properly, and does anyone know of a good cluch kit (not stock) for a 5 speed, I do some occational street raceing!!

P.S. Where can i get a good front bumper...

umm..... ok....

yes you can do some performance upgrades. An SAFC would help, as would a 'header'.

2 or 4 injectors? NAs are foreign to me, can't answer that one.

good clutch? ACT should make one I'd imagine, tho it wont really help you in your street racing

Good front bumper? Go to the mazda dealer, they sell the highest quality front bumpers you can find

You have 4 injectors.
SAFC is a tuneable Apex'i engine computer.
To find out more about mixing gas/oil do some searching around the forum for "premixing"

You already have some good low-price upgrades. Most of the really good upgrades are expensive. A header is a good low-budget upgrade, but this may cause noise and emission problems.

You may like a low-intertia flywheel, which will let the engine rev up faster, although this will also let it rev down faster, which makes it more difficult to drive in stop & go traffic, and the idle may "hunt". If you do get a flywheel, it is best to have it installed when the clutch is replaced so that there is little charge for installation.

I don't think the S-AFC is worth the money for your mostly-stock engine. The stock AFM can compensate for minor changes in the engine. A standalone EMS would be a good upgrade, but this is rather expensive at $1,000-2,000 for the EMS and another $500-1,000 for tuning and installation.

84-85 13B has 2 injectors, 86-on has 4 injectors. You may want to get your injectors cleaned and flow-tested, as new injectors are not cheap.

The ACT Street/Strip holds better than the stock clutch, but it still drives well on the street.
