That sounds and looks amazing. I want to hear it run!

Very cool, thanks Akagi.

They seem to have it set up to 1-3-2-4 with 90 degree eccentric rotation spacing between each. Why is the timing staggered? I would have thought firing 1 with 3 and 2 with 4 at the same time would be the way to go. Energy transfer may be smoother the way they have it. Interesting...

Hi NimrodTT!

Mazda's 787B R26B was in the same configuration, see extract from the document here:

For rotational balancing, a counterweight is used at the front and rear of the eccentric shaft. Fig. 8 shows examples of rotor phase angles and the required counterweights. Taking the rotating counterweights and torque variations into consideration, ignition spacing of 90 degrees was provided for an ignition sequence of 1-3-2-4

Word document can be found on my site:

I'd think with 4 equally spaced exhaust pulses through equal length primary pipes you'd get a better evacuation effect.

I nearly evacuated myself when I saw that! Very cool. I can just imagine the exhaust note. Similar to the 787B.

i just notice something...how does it stay on/running? i don't see where the injection of fuel is coming from.

It's not running, it's being spun to show off the rotor sequence.

if it was running somehow, the rotors would be spinning about 500 times faster. and we are looking in the intake tubes.
