rx-8 stationary gears

are the rx-8 stationary gears interchangeable with other 13b's?cuz i see mazdatrix is selling them.it says they are hardened and come with a new multi-window bearing.also, anyone know if the rx-8 front stationary gear uses a s4 or s6 thrust bearings/plate?

thanx

I emailed Mazdatrix about this and asked them how it compares to the TypeI stat gears by racing beat, this is what they had to say.

"We use the RX8 gears in some of our race engines. RB gears get an oil groove
cut it them, hardened, then 3-window bearing pressed in. The RX8 ones come
from Japan hardened. The bearing in them is a "multi-window" (more than 3)
with the groove behind it already there.."

Rear is always more expensive than the front, rear is larger I assume that's why.

Look at the Racing Beat TypeI and II gears and the rear is more expensive than that front as well.

Yah I'm going to be using these in my current engine build ^_^

You must use the FD(s6) thrust bearing with the rx-8 front gear..Max
