RuggleS'cales (where to find?)
Hi all,
The only website I can find referring to selling these scales is http://www.tgsi.com/scales.html . Unfortunately, they aren't responding to e-mail, and their phone goes unanswered (if you dial the new area code instead of the one listed on the page).
So, does anyone know who sells these things on the web, used, new, by catalog, mail order, or whatever? The search engines seem to all point at the page above, or some mailing list's conversation about the accuracy of the devices.
Cool concept. I'm surprised there aren't other companies selling their own versions...
Thanks all,

Thanks all,
Great item for your local 7 club to pick up and share, or SCCA chapter.
If I can get a set of four for <$150 they'd have their own little place in my garage....
Group buy on bathroom scales, anyone? :-)

Good luck on that price. They may be just bathroom scales with chromed angle iron, but they are designed to proportionally weigh cars on scales that normally wouldn't support a car's weight. There's a little engineering involved there.
Like I said, if you make them, people will buy them.
I have found another source, and will post it after I have sucessfully completed the transaction with them. We'll see...
