What is the stock part number.

Any information regarding the apex seals on the 13B renesis motor?

I hear they are 2 mm, 2 peice items.

Yes, but it appears the new 13b seals are made of the same material.

The bad thing is 3piece seals are no longer made. Only thing you can get is 2piece.

wow this is what i wanted to hear!!
I have been trying to get the new seals from mazda
canada for some time i want them for the rebuild of my
extra 20b motor which i am going to build up for a little
higher than stock power i figured that the new 2mm
seal would be a good choice for the sake of lasting, its
great to hear that someone is running high hp on them
already without any problems.
i would really like to hear how they wear the rotor
housings,,, keep us up to date on your experience with
the new seals.

No. I speak with Ray at Malloy Mazda daily and he assures me they don't even make them anymore. Trust me, I would love if they made both.

So will the new seal work with our engines??? I'm assuming so if they are going to continue making Mazda remans for our cars. Does anyone know for sure they work with a standard FD housing.

Odd that Mazda continues to use the triangular end seal on the renesis rather than taking a cue from Hurley and others and making this piece slightly longer so that the point of the triangle doesn't sctatch a groove into the housing...
