48 IDA on a 6 port, what jetting?

Allright i just put this set up on a friends second gen. Stock port with header. I am pretty good at tuning the IDA carbs on old school 4 ports and on my PP, but I have never put one on a 6 port 13b. Does any one know about where we should start? Im thinking about 40mm chokes with 200 main jets and 160 airs? We are running 37 mm chokes with 190 main right now and it doesnt like it very much. Can any one help? I called racing beat and mazdatrix and they are all ALMOST idiot when it comes to this, they sell the manifolds and carbs but when asked as far as jetting on a stock 6 port with header they say they have never done it ???????

No, we have NOT run a 48IDA on a stock 6-port engine.

Try starting with:
"0" bypass
37 or 38mm chokes
F11 tubes
155-165 fuel
135-150 airs
(no warranty, but it might get you close)

All the dynoing we have done has been on large street port E/Production engines.
We played around with F8 tubes, but they did not look like they were going to be any better than the F11's, and were wanting VERY different jetting.
