records fall today in San Antonio!!

bullish ran a 6.87@ 202 mph!!! both of the car went in to the sixes

Jotech ( kenny Tran ) has the new unibody FWD record of get this.......8.59@170 freekin MPH!!!!

if any of you have not seen those bullish cars run, the first one that went into the sixes rode the wheelie bars to almost half track and the front tire did not lift off of the ground until after the 60' mark!!

Cris Rado got his full tube celica to a personal record of 8.47@172 mph

due to the saturday rain out there wer not a lot of people there, not even a full field of any class, three pro cars and Rado was the only outlaw car.

Bullish racing cars are a pair of 2 Toyota Solara's full chassis 6 cil toyota supra engines. Motec EMS, G-Force clutchless trannys(gearbox) and a pretty decent size turbo running methanol fuel.

That is insane. I never thought the Pro-class would get that low by the end of the season. I figured they would just squeak by with a 6.9 at the start of the season but 6.87! jesus.

my status

well, i have not gotten into the 8's yet..close but not there yet. i decided to run a two stage nos thursday so i could at least squeak in to the 8's for the weekend and when i went to test it the car launched and felt good but when the turbo kicked in the tires broke loose and went to the right so i let out and then got back in the fuel puddled and back fired blowing the TB off of the manifold!!! so needless to say i did not bring the car to the event. since there is ony one race left in the season i am probably just going to take the car down and get ready for my 2003 setup which will be wild!!!

isnt the venom supra also in the 7's? hopefully these sanctioning bodies will start adding weight based on torque values or something or let some cars run lighter. i know that if i could run at 1800 lbs instead of 2100 things would be different!

i know vinny ten's supra has gone as quick as 8.0 in outlaw, last i heard venom's supra was still in the 8's, but i'm not sure.

the 7.70 by the Z was the outlaw class record as of oct 6th

I think the record is 7.60's at 177mph. Not positive but I think that's the record for outlaw class right now.

I saw the Venom Supra run a 7 second pass in Joliet at the Battle of the Imports. I have it on video actually. It was the same event the Venom truck ran the first 6 second pass by an Import.
