Rebuild and streetport at the same time?

Im currently looking into a 93+ with abut 100km, when the engine needs a rebuild what would it cost? Also what would a street port mod cost?
Im essentially try to see if i can afford to get both of these done at the same time, as i would presume it would cost a little less.

well to do a port of any kind the engine has to come apart, and if the engine comes apart you should at least measure everything and replace worn parts.

You'd do them both at the same time, otherwise you'd have someone rebuild the engine, and then to do the street port they'd have to take the engine back out "un-build" it, port it, and rebuild it again.

The rebuild is the pricey part. Parts and Labour will set you back at least $3k in ontario, the port work shouldn't be more than $200-300 over and above your rebuild cost.
