quick question on 13b-rew and 13b-re

quick question on 13b-rew and 13b-re

are there any differences in the turbos between the two motors?

i believe the re has smaller ones since it was an automatic

Which one was the 3rd gen engine? Also i know one of them had much bigger primary intake ports, which one was it? thanks.

The 13b-REW is the 3rd gen motor, and I think the RE has larger primarys.

I'm a little rusty with my RE knowledge.

The RE has larger primaries. And I'm fairly certain that the RE had the option of manual or automatic transmission, the 20B had the automatic and nothing else though.

REW has two HT-12 units, for clarification. I am not sure about the RE, though.

The RE has the smaller turbos and Larger primaries (on the manifold side) & Larger secondaries (on the end plates).
