I am working on getting a 3rd gen salvaged car and I have a possibility of getting a JDM 2002 R2 imported and my question is.... If i get this proffessionally installed, will the check engine like stay off and will everything work properly without disengagine something on the car or electrical system?

You want to know if you swap the engine in, if your check engine light will come on or not?!?

 

I guess I didn't word that too well.. Would it still be operable if I were to do this swap?
