Is this still giving the same crappy pickup issues?? My guess is it is unless modified in some way. I've made the same exact setup before, all aluminum etc. If the pickup isn't addressed all the pumps in the world are not going to help. Not bashing anyone just informing.

no bashin taken but to answer your concern. when we designed the unit we knew that was a problem w the diy's, we addresed the issue by removing a 3rd gen (and 2nd gen) tank. cut it in half to see where the pumps were going to PLAY and found a good and happy place for them. so there is NO crappy pick up issues w/ the PTP setup.this is the same setup on my car,and my car lays down 560 whp w/ no fuel delivery issues.

thanks brian!!! did I mention the aluminium bracket that holds the pumps has an inner rubber o ring for reduced noise the biggest advantage to the dual setup is the pumps always stay cool!!!!

Good, and it is nice to see someone not take it as bashing for once. Stock location sucks both for highHP straight line and esp. for the turns. Glad to see some one thought it through. I figured you had. Just couldn't tell by the pic.

Looks like a solid piece, but it also looks like it sits in the stock location. How did you fix the P/U problem? Also is the return is right next to the P/U, thought I'd ask since you are so open minded about questions. The Supra guys are doing these in a two, and a three pump configuration. Dual rear corner P/U or a surge tank/weld in sump are the only solutions I have seen that worked well. Nice workmanship none the less. Carl

Rock and roll, Lee. Terrific idea!!!

I am about to switch over to a dual Walbro GSS342 pump system setup here in the next couple of weeks. Once I get mine done, I'll post up some pictures of it all. It was over $600 in parts, hose, and fittings!!

Hey guys I am a little new to the forum my name is Jon from Protech Performance

Anyway I am trying to get you guys some pictures of the assembly inside the tank since we cut a hole in the tank to build the sump. I'll try to get you guys a picture of both the stock sump and ours. We designed the sump from the stock modified sump we have been using for almost 4 years now. We have never had a pickup problem so I dont expect to see any problems from our new design. We even have 2 customers that road race using our setup and they dont seem to have any problems. If you guys have any other questions though feel free to ask me or email me.

Thanks

Jon

$400 if you can believe that. Where 2 pumps and the lines/fittings = $200 is beyond me.

Generally speaking, each Walbro is about $110. I purchased one slightly below that not too long ago and you may be able to find deals on E-Bay. Most fittings run what, $15 a pop? So $200 comes up pretty quick I'd say.

your going to need the fittings and Push lock hose
that comes with the kit
since the bracket was designed for use of those particular fittings

My duel pump set up
came out UGLY
and I have gas smell lol
even after adding ton of silicon
It was a major pain in the as
trying to get the pumps go thru the opening
since the hose clamps make it very very tight

and now my fuel level
isnt working right

I'm going to replace my ghetto setup
with the PTP Setup soon
