Railgun, not to be an *** here or anything but why not just spend the money he's asking and get a good setup that is tested and reliable? People that always try to take stuff off and get the price dropped always end up complaining when their setups don't work right. Just my .02 so take it for what you will.

He did? Where? The point is that for something that you're never going to see, the bling factor isn't needed. Unless you have your carpet ripped up or a hole cut in it and the outter cover removed, why do you need it polished? Yeah, I'm being a little cheap here since I don't want to pay for something that I don't need. Why do you need that hose? You don't. Why do I have to get those fittings? They're just some normal AN fittings to me. Just trying to get a fair value on the bracket. $300 seems a little excessive.

Zach...

Perhaps I need to read a little more, but aren't the pickup issues somewhat related to the tank baffling, not the pickup itself?

I'm not one that is cheap on things. Believe me I've spent plenty of $$ on mine already, but this is a bracket. This just seems overpriced...

Just my humble $.02

You haven't even thought of him factoring in a bit of money to cover the cost of R&D. I doubt that the first one they built is the one that he's selling now. Any good machinist will charge you per hour for labor. The same thing is being done here. I'm sure that any cost that is higher than normal is to cover the XX number of hours his shop spent building and rebuilding this unit to get it just right.

If you do not have plans to make over 400-425rwhp
then just stay with stock fuel lines and 1 walbro high pressure pump
that way you stay within your budget

You should checkout how much the duel walbro supra setups costs
then you would see what a good deal this is
..Its Just not a top bracket
look at the pictures
there is a whole base that holds the pumps with out them touching (magnetic engines in the FP's reverse flow if they feed each other)

in other words
its a TOTAL replacement assembly
not a top bling bling bracket

The sump kit that is pictured on the website is the original and the new units are not polished, the polished one was just built for show. If you want it polished we can do that for you but that would be extra on top of the 400. And if you purchase 2 walbro pumps lets say you find them on ebay for around 95 shipped then that there is 200 dollars just for the pumps. How do you figure it should be around 200 for the entire sump assembly??

Thanks Kabooski and here is what your talking about

http://www.wotm.com/93tosucnfuha.html

This is the sump WITHOUT any pumps

If anyone has any other questions just let me know
