Has he ever done that befor? My friend tried a hole bunch of stuff with combination, p port and stock ports, but they never ran right. I don't know mabe he has a good method. I want to see some pics of the rotor housings, do you have any? Also is that stuff 2 in. OD? Looks good though. Why not JB that stuff works great?

He has done them before and has had good results with them. I will have pics of the rotor housing tomorrow after I go. The rotor housings were send out for the hole to be machined and the housings are also getting glassblasted for the NEW look. He has used JB weld on other things but the stuff he is using there is made to keep alot of pressure in and stay in place at higher temps. Ill find out exactly what its using tomorrow. Tomorrow the machine shop will be smoothing out the mounting points so a good seal against all the housings is present.

I heard about some rally racer in NZ who put normal peripheral port housings (HUGE) in with normal side port housings, and ran a 45DCOE to the side ports and a 48IDA to the p-ports, and put staged linkage on there... so at low power/throttle position it ran on the side ports and the 45DCOE, then at heavy throttle it worked off of both the 45DCOE AND the 48IDA going to the p-ports... supposedly it made stupid-big power but tuning it must have been a total bitch!

ok but anyway... big ports and crappy idles are cool.

Why not just weld the manifold... I realize that it is cast aluminum, but I see people here in Japan weld aditional injector bungs to them all day long with no problems... I'd just be worried about the heat from the turbo on the lower manifold. All that expansion and contraction especially on aluminum would eventually crack the glue unless it expands and contracts at the same rate as the aluminum around it...

but way cool non the less..
