I have the PFS SMIC and was wondering what the safe high boost setting is for that intercooler?

Will I be ok running 1 bar?

The intercooler is good enough, but that shouldn't be your concern. Your concern is your fuel system. At 13psi, the stock injectors don't pulse anymore, they are at full spray. This is not good. One piece of dirt and boom! Your going to need a bigger fuel pump and (to run safe) bigger secondary injectors. (1200cc) Providing you have all the other bolt on's, this will be fine for 15lbs of boost, but for stock twins I wouldn't run 15psi without race gas regardless of fuel or intercooler. Just some advise. Take it from sombody that had to learn the hard way.....

 

Ernie, I agree wholeheartedly with your recommendations, but I don't understand the dirt thing. What changes at 100% injector duty that would make dirt worse in that situation?
