Oil pan

Hi,
I am currently finding a small build up of oil directly on top of the joint between my intake elbow and intake manifold, all stock pieces. This only occurs on the track however I am finding that my oil consumption although acceptable on the street is not acceptable on the track. After 10 laps I will be down a quart of oil. How do I fix this, would the moroso oil pan with baffling and increased capacity help?

Also,
when my fuel levels drop to half tank, on a hard left corner the car has sputtered as if it has been starved for fuel, is there a way to prevent this, aftermarket fuel pickup?

You could try sumping your tank and using an external fuel pump, but that's alot of work.

If you're doing 10 long laps at very high RPMs,your oil injection could be pumping alot of oil into the rotor housings(as it should). You might check the accuracy of your gas gauge, you might be much lower than half full.

The fuel pick up problem is very well known to FD racers. The tank is shallow and has no or very poor baffling so if you are below about a half tank you can starve the fuel pick up in the tank. When autoxing I keep the tank half full; if not you have trouble. All the other third gen drivers I know have the same trouble.

I think the oil consumption does show a problem. More oil is injected in "high performance" situations, but not that much; have it checked out. It could be not the oil injection but turbo sealsl.

hi,

Are there any fixes for the fuel problem because a half tank disappears very quickly on the track?
also, a leaking turbo seal was a concern of mine, especially the secondary one because that seems to be used the most on the track and not on the street. Would it be possible to determine if it's leaking with a five gas analyser? Does anybody have a proper exhuast gas mixture?

thanks again,
