Oil control ring - opinions?

I am trying to determine what is the best oil control ring to put in my engine (13B GSL-SE). I had the engine apart awhile back and was planning to use the Atkins viton rings, however after braking two carriers and having the ones that did go in be very tight, I decided to reuse the seals that I had (they had about 30,000 miles on them). Well, now I am getting smoke out of the exhaust and I am pretty sure that it is oil.

I am planning to open up the engine again in the next couple months to replace the oil control rings and some of the springs/seals that I didn't replace before. I may also streetport it while I am in there.

I now know that the Atkins rings are standard size and that is why they do not fit well. McMaster-Carr and other viton rings are also only in standard sizes from what I have seen. I know that FC3S.org was selling meteric viton rings, but I can no longer find the rings for sale.

So, I want to ask all of you: What do you suggest to use for the oil control rings?

Thanks for your input,

Kent

P.S. Forgive me if this is the wrong section for this. I wasn't sure where this topic would fit best.
