I was doing some high boost runs and then oil level light came on. I stop to see oil all over the engine bay. The engine is a fresh rebuild. I just got about 1200km on it. I hope it did not crack the the engine. The engine is half bridge S5 iron/housing S4 NA rotors. With t04b 60-1 1.15a/r @ 14 psi. I don't what to take the engine apart I might just try to retourque the tension bolts and try that. Any suggestion would be great.

was the oil leaking from just under the oil filter?
bet the iron cracked at the dowel

yup is there any way to fix it. I have extra irons but I was hoping for a easy fix.

I though I needed major hp to break irons.

and or bad luck
unless you forgot the o ring that goes around that top dowel.
only way to fix is to make sure that it is leaking from there
and pull it apart.
it is possible to remove just the rear iron and change it
but it is tricky.

No, you do not need massive power to crack the rear housing. All you need is a little detonation and you're set. This is most likely because of a bad tune.

I don't think it was tune I have timing set to 14deg and a/f 10.00 . I just hope is was the o-ring missing.
