Since Sven is out of 1 piece 3mm seals i need to ask here.

Is there anyone that got a spare set of seals they would like to sell? Im starting on my bridge port build and i can't use the 2 piece seals. Since the Bridge Port can only be 0.175" or 4.445mm wide. And that is a verry small bridge port.

So if anyone got a set to spare, please PM me. I realy need a set.

JT

Thanks JT. I do what I can for my customers I had to check with this guy when I remembered he wanted to sell his set. He won them at 7 stock but really wants 2pc seals and luckily he still had them so it all worked out for the best.

Sorry mad20b, I'm certain JT will be taking them. I will be doing my best to get 3mm 1pc stock as soon as humanly possible.

Hey Sven,

Here are some pics of the 2pc 3mm with 80k miles on them, 3 on cermet B rotor housings and the other 3 on a cermet A housing. The seals came out ALL within brand new spec! The entire combination looked like new, even the spring seats at the bottom of the seal. The cermet tipped springs also were great, just polished themselves in, no wear.

OMG

thats sick. what specs are on the engine these seals are in? Using stock OMP or premix, and what kind of 2 stroke u using?

Those seals have not been cleaned before the picture was taken?

Cause if the seals and rotor housings looks like that im so glad i got my NRS seals. Again thanks for the help in finding a set for me Sven I got them about a week ago.

Pardon my ingnorance but what was the engine combination, boost, fuel, etc. these seals were running on?? And how much discernable housing wear results running them? (if any) Thanks. ...80K miles!?!? Wow.

That is my goal but I make no promises. I need to get them up to full production to evaluate the costs and see where that leaves them.

Pardon my ignorance or lack of knowledge but what is the benefit/downside to a 1 piece seal and a 2 piece seal? I never really found any answers to this. But WOW this is insane. I can't wait to get a set for my rebuild coming soon!
