Hey Tough Guy, all the top racers use Nitrous Oxide in their motors. Its been proved that nitrous is the best bang for the buck for performance. Maybe instead of posting useless comments you should sit back and read the forum and learn something.

I know they use NOS, i just don't Bealive in it, its the cheap way out to get performance, anyone can put NOS on thier car. And those racers also have sponsors so they have the money to rebuild thier engines all the time.

You are right, anyone can put nitrous oxide on their car but only some people can tune a car with nitrous oxide to make horsepower and stay reliable.

Thats a good point..

That is also a very good point, But i don't think somone who has to ask if they can put nos on thier car, would have the knowledge to tune it right, i don't yet either, thats why i plan on taking years of college automotive courses, and if thier where any performance car shops around here i would be donw there everyday learneing as much from the mechanics as i possibly could.

People who use nitrous are taking risks just like people with turbo's and supercharger's are. Its just that it costs about 1/3 the initial cost. Those bottles can add up though. Dont be so harsh on the nitrous crowd. Trust me, and LS1 with a 125 shot is a glorious thing to watch. They can pile on the 11sec. timeslips all night long. (As long as nothing breaks! )

Before I say anything, lets keep this thread on topic, i think it's got potential to turn into another "NOS - good or bad?" thread or "turbo vs nos" thread.

Anyway, if you want to add nitrous, go for it! I have respect for anyone who mods their rotaries no matter what path they take. I wouldn't personally do nos, but that's my choice. I can see an NA driver wanting too... if their car is very low mileage and in MINT condition, it may be somethign they really don't want to party with. Doing a turbo conversion isn't really an economical thing to do rather than sell the NA and buy the TII. So if they want to keep the NA, can't go turbo, what else is there? NOS!

Or someone named Judge Ito can run in the 8s with NOS and no turbo. Lets not even bring up bam bam running 8.5 with no turbo and only NOS.

I actually just replied to a post on this same subject. I have a 90 N/A kit is 5123 NOS. For theose who don't like it fine but the hell with a turbo at the track if you got juice. 75 Shot shaved almost 2 seconds off my 1/4 not bad for 880 canadian!

That sounds like a steal. Where did you get it? Installed?
